For Math practice, students can use Math Seeds or Zearn. Students can also practice counting money and telling time. Please have your child go to the Engage New York website or Knowledge on the Go to do the Eureka math assignments. I am skipping ahead to lesson 23.

Monday – Do Lesson 23

Tuesday – Do Lesson 24

Wednesday = Do Lesson 25

Thursday – Practice math on Math Seeds or Zearn.

Friday – Practice math on Math Seeds or Zearn.

The only math that needs to be turned in to me are the two math pages I posted on Class Dojo.com on 4/27 and 4/28.

Science- Go to the Mystery Science website and follow the first grade Mystery Science lesson,”Why Are Polar Bears White?”

Social Studies – Students are learning about family history. You can discuss what school was like for you when you were a young child in first grade. Compare and contrast how some things in school are the same today and some things are different.

Please let me know if you need any help with the online assignments.

The work that I would like your child to turn in by Thursday includes the two writing prompt responses; the Readworks.org assignments for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday; and the two math pages posted on Class Dojo.com.

On, Friday May 1, between 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. you can come to Haigh school to get the Succeed Eureka Math book for you child to use at home. That is the only thing you can get at this time. I can not send home any of the student’s things at this time. There will be a day scheduled in the future to get your child’s things. If you do not want to come to school to get the math book, that is fine. You can still do the math lessons I am posting on my blog by going to the Engage New York website or Knowledge on the Go to do the online math lessons.
