March is Reading Month

We are getting excited about March and getting ready to read read read! We are creating bookmarks in class to go along with the theme that “Books are dino-mite.” Our theme for this month is dinosaurs!
I would like the children to bring in 1 or 2 books from home to keep in their book boxes for the month. We will take 10 minutes each day at random times to enjoy our books from home and read! Please send in books by Monday so that we can kick off the month with reading our favorite books!
There will also be a large packet coming home with a reading log and a calendar of activities you can do at home throughout the month to foster a love for reading!
