Glow in the Dark Fish and a Ghost Shrimp

Payton’s mom brought in their family pet fish for the class to enjoy for a few days! We feed the fish in the morning and right before leaving for the day. One of the fish, named Slimer, glows neon green when the lights are out. The ghost shrimp likes to hide, but when he does come out, we can see through his body!

Thank you for sharing your pets with our class during our ocean unit! The children really enjoy watching the fish!

Here are some pictures:

We are quietly watching the fish and are amazed at how bright they glow!

Star of the week, Connor, was the first to help feed the fish!

This is our gathering place at the start and finish of each day to feed the fish!

Thank you again for letting us enjoy the fish for a few days!
