Timeline Project
January 13, 2020
The following note is coming home today:
Timeline Project: We are getting to know each other in Kindergarten! A great way to get to know each other is by learning about our timeline (history)! You and your child will create a timeline project using events from their own lives! Some examples of important events are: birth, began to crawl, first steps, lost tooth, etc. This is a wonderful project that will allow your child to present their experiences to their peers in class. Please be sure to involve your child in the creation process so they are able to stand up and speak about the poster to their friends!
On the timeline, please include 5 pictures or drawings and a very short heading under each event. Please limit to ONLY 5 events on the poster board. The project should also be done chronologically starting with birth. Please make sure the project is displayed horizontally, so students are able to see the progression from left to right. Your child may decorate their timeline any way they choose…be as creative as you would like:)
We hope you all enjoy walking down memory lane with this wonderful Social Studies project and we can’t wait to see and talk about all the projects in class! All projects are due to school by Thursday, January 23rd. Thank you!
