Book Pouches and Folders –
These two items need to be sent to school every day. They are a very important part of our daily routines and learning experiences.
Book pouches are used several times throughout the day for learning in small groups and your child also uses them to practice reading throughout the day. If your child does not bring their book pouch to school, they will not receive new books for the week and will miss out on special learning which takes place during our Daily 5 time because they are missing their materials.
Folders are integral for communication between home and school. Please be sure to empty the folders each night. Today I spent a lot of time emptying out papers from many folders and looking through papers to find star of the week posters or notes from home. Please check your child’s folder each night and take out all papers. Thank you.
