No more book pouches, homework, spelling tests, and math tests!!!

Please read below in the housekeeping section regarding snack and folders for the remainder of the year.

Upcoming Events

5/24 Ocean Projects due (if you did not turn in a project, please do so asap in order for your child to practice presenting before June 1st)

5/30 PBIS Party (Children may bring a blanket or towel to sit on and a disposable lunch. Cheese/crackers or Hummus/pita are available for sale)

6/1 Ocean Presentations at 2:30

6/12 PBIS Presentation

6/13 Kindergarten Celebration 1:30 – 3:15 (Parents Welcome- No Siblings)

6/14 Last day of school!!! (1/2 day — dismissal 11:40am)

Agenda for the Week

Reading and Writing: We are working on reading and writing about ocean animals to complete our ocean reports for our ocean presentations on June 1st. The children will have their models and their reports and families are welcome to wander around the room and ask students about their ocean animal. We will have some snacks to enjoy as well.

Math: The children took their – 8 math test today! This concludes our math quizzes for the year!

Housekeeping Items:

Snack Time

**** Due to a peanut allergy in our room, please do not send in any snacks that contain nuts.*****

We will still be enjoying snack time every day for the rest of the year, so please continue to send your child with a snack to school all the way to the last day.

Folders

We will be using the folders for a few more weeks. Over the next few weeks belongings of your child will be coming home. All items from the year will be sent home by June 12th.  The children will not need to bring their backpacks to school after June 12th.
