Agenda for the Week
Spelling Words for our next spelling test on 4/27: they, come, his, good, jam, yam, ram, clam, slam

These words will be in the homework which will come home on Monday!
Reading and Writing: This week read lots of books about the ocean and focused on text features such as headings, titles, table of contents, and glossary
Math: The children took their – 4 math test today! Next week, we will focus on learning -5 math facts. Our test will be on Friday, May 4th.

Science: We continued our ocean unit. We are working on many crafts in order to turn our classroom into an ocean.
Social Studies: We continue to discuss democracy, practice voting, and learning about the presidency.
Housekeeping Items:
Money: Please make sure to send money in an envelope or baggie labeled with your child’s name and what the money will be used for. Thank you for your help!
Spelling booklets: Please be sure to return these promptly on Tuesday!
Snack Time
**** Due to a peanut allergy in our room, please do not send in any snacks that contain nuts.*****
Folders
Please make sure to empty the green folders each night! It is very difficult and time consuming to locate homework or important notes when the folder is full of papers from the day before. Remember to initial the communication log and feel free to add any notes to me!
