Thankful Turkey Craft
November 9, 2016
During the month of November we will be talking about what it means to be thankful. Many of us are very fortunate to have caring families, food to eat, and a loving home to grow up in! Over this weekend, please discuss with your child what they are thankful for.
Attached to this note is a fun project for you and your child to complete together. Please decorate the paper plate with pictures, drawings, or magazine clippings of what your child is thankful for. You can also label the pictures! Please only decorate on the backside of the paper plate marked with the X. We will turn this plate into a “thankful turkey” at school by adding feathers, a head, and forks for feet! Please return your paper plate to school on Monday, November 14th.
