A couple of changes to note…

Dear Parents,

A couple of things have changed and I wanted to send a quick note to let you know the updated information.

Our library day has switched from Friday, to Monday. We had not been able to attend library check-out for about a month due to assemblies, parties, etc. I was able to secure a time slot on Monday in order for the kids to be able to check out books more frequently. Please keep the library books at home through the week and return the books each Friday. This will allow for the librarian to check-in all the books and be ready for us on Monday!

All conference notes will be coming home today. Although I previously communicated that your reminder note would come home the Monday of the week you are scheduled, I did not want anyone that may miss the blog communications to be wondering when their scheduled conference time was. Therefore all conferences reminder notes are coming home today and will be stapled inside your child’s green folder.  If you cannot make your conference time, please email me as soon as possible.

A note will be coming home on Wednesday regarding our Thanksgiving play. The original date was set for 11/22, however, the PBIS celebration will take place that day. We have scheduled the play for 11/18 at 2:45pm. Due to the short length of the play (approximately 10 minutes) we will not have any chairs set up in the gym. The children will be up on the stage and parents will be standing on the gym floor. After the play is over, we will head back to our room for some light refreshments. A sign-out sheet, for your convenience, will be available in the room for parents wanting to take their child home following the festivities.
