Great to talk to several of you yesterday! As things start winding down, please remember we have assignments until Friday. I will let you know what day/time next week you can come to school for certificate pick-up as soon as I know. We are working on it. Your lessons today continue with volume, Warriors, science, and IXL. Any questions, let me know.

Well, as we enter into our last week of new learning, I want you say how proud I am of your efforts with Remote Learning. I know I have said it before, but you have surprised me each week. You hung in there doing all your lessons each week. My students are some of the best, and this class overcame more than any I have had! Good for you!

We will meet today at 1:00 using our BBB meeting site. Your lessons continue with volume, reading Warriors, language, and social studies. Also, 5th Graders will have a drive-up at school to pick up your certificates the week of June 8th! Will keep you updated with all the information as I receive it. Don’t forget to vote for the masked singer! Talk to you later!

Mrs. Bagnall has posted the Masked Singer! Listen to each masked singer and vote for your favorite teacher! Enjoy.

Today is the last day to send pictures to Howard5thGradePromo2020@gmail.com. If you have pictures from any grade while your child was at Howard for the 5th grade memory video, please send them to this email. Group photos from field trips and class parties are great because they include multiple students. Thanks!

It was so good to see/talk to you yesterday. Today is a big day! I will get to see you…from a distance! Anytime between 11:30-2:30 you can come to the school to drop off your school materials, and pick up your personal desk materials. I will be there to take your school items and deliver your items to you. Please remember to bring: safety belt, instrument, library books, social studies book, science book, Treasures book, Atlas soft cover book. I will be at our 5th grade door in the front of the school.

Today’s lessons will continue our reading of The Westing Game ch 6, a new lesson on photosynthesis in science, math lesson 4, and remember our mentor sentences??? Our Language IXL lesson T.1 today is about sentence structure.

Well, Tuesday was a busy day. I was at school all morning. It felt weird being there without all of you, but I was getting all of your things ready for pick-up on Thursday. Today we will meet at 1:00. It feels like it has been awhile since I talked with you! You will need to tune into your TV. at 3:00 because the astronauts are supposed to lift off! Exciting day! Your assignments for today are Math Topic A quiz in Edulastic, Social Studies chapter 12 lesson 2 in your book, and Language IXL. See the Daily Schedule for details. Talk to you later!

We had a lot of great experiments going on over the long weekend! If you sent a video or picture of your experiment that is not here, it is because it was blocked. I tried to get as many as I could on the blog. If you have pictures but haven’t sent them yet, please do so. I will post them later. The rainbow experiment was a big hit, but we had a wide range of experiments. You guys did an awesome job!
