Good morning! It was so good to see some of you this morning. You brightened my day!! We will meet again on Wednesday @ 1:00. I would like to see as many of you as I can. Your meeting notice will show up in Classroom on that day and time.

Now, down to business. I see from the assignments turned in or NOT turned in some of you are still on break. We need to get back to work. Even for my students that did their assignments today, not all of you completed IXL or Zearn. Please stay up on your daily assignments. They count for next year! I have to be able to share with your next year’s teachers that you continued your work. I don’t want to share that you didn’t. Students…you will continue to fall further and further behind your classmates. Ok…so make me proud! You can do it! Log in today!!!

I know we have been on vacation but we are back in school. I want everyone to read the directions for each assignment before turning it in. I am returning assignments all the time because you didn’t do what I asked you to do. If I do not give you specific directions for an activity, you should follow the directions for the activity. Thank you! Love you!

I hope everyone had a restful and safe week at home. It was a pretty week with lots of sunshine. Well, here we are continuing Remote Learning. I wish we were back in the classroom, but we need to stay safe. During the next 2 months, we will continue to use Google Classroom, Flocabulary, ReadWorks, IXL, EPIC, and Zearn to learn our curriculum. If you are not signed into any of these websites, today’s the day to get signed up. You are getting “graded” on whether you complete your assignments or don’t. Your work will be graded as complete, incomplete/partially done, or missing/not done.

NEW-Your assignments for each day will be listed on a tab at the top of the blog named Daily Schedule 2020. This will allow you to quickly find it. The feed on the Blog won’t get cluttered, so you won’t have to scroll to find assignments. I will use the Blog for daily announcements from Howard or the district. Remember you can complete your Daily Assignments in any order unlike at school. However, you need to complete all the assignments each day just like when we are in the classroom.

Google Classroom-your assignments will no longer be organized by topic. They will be identified by the day. When you go to Classroom, all your assignments for Monday will be labeled…Monday 4-13, and each day after likewise. You will find all the assignments under that label. This way you can use it as a checklist to assure you have completed everything.

We will also have Google Meets where you can talk with one another and ask me questions about your assignments. We will decide together how often and what time is best to meet. I will send you a link in Classroom for you to join the meeting at the scheduled time. Tomorrow, Monday the 13th, we will meet at 10:00. I hope you can join me! Look for your link in Classroom at 10:00. See you tomorrow!

Please join Mrs. Bagnall’s Blog. She is back and will post new activities twice a week.
