Good Morning! I hope you had a wonderful weekend at home! I want to encourage you to continue to do your daily assignments, not just the ones you want to do.

Our daily assignments will do several things for us. One-you maintain a schedule of school. Two-you give yourself purpose. Three-you don’t regress. You have learned so much this year. Together we can continue to do that, so I will give you assignments that I believe will do that. I have expanded our materials to using more videos and materials we haven’t used before, along with, some materials we are used to using. Yet, we can continue the momentum. In between completing assignments, get some exercise! Hang in there with me! I miss you all!

Today’s assignments:

Math-complete Exit Ticket les 5, lesson 6 Application problem, then watch the video for lesson 6 before completing the Problem Set for this lesson.

Read AloudInsignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus, listen to ch 10. It has 2 parts. So after listening to chapter 10, skip a line and date today’s entry. In chapter 10, what do we learn about Connor? Why does the author include these bits of information?

Social Studies-introduce yourself to the next topic of study, French and Indian War, by watching the Flocabulary video. Complete the assigned activities to learn more about this significant event in our history.(see your login information from Friday if you haven’t logged in yet)

Writing-poetry. We will work on similes used in poetry today in Classroom. Enjoy reading the poem and complete the activity in DocHub.

IXL.com-something new! I sent your login information to your school email account; your number@dearbornschools.org. Let me know if you get logged in.

Journal-continue reading 30 minutes from your personal chapter book. What 3 questions do you have for the main character? Add these to your journal in Classroom.
