Gym Form

Students please have a parent complete the PE waiver for Mrs. Masairczyk!  It is due this week so that Mrs. Masairczyk can start doing fun gym activities with you in her zoom meetings.  Your parent can stop by the office to complete the waiver or have your parent check their email from Mrs. Masairczyk that has a digital waiver they can fill out and submit.

Hi 4th grade! As a reminder, there is no school on Monday. We will have full day classes beginning on Tuesday, September 8th. Please login to Zoom 5 minutes early. Remember, class begins at 8:55am. 

You have the Tell me About You! Assignment due Tuesday. Also, if you did not do the discussion board from last week and responding to two classmates, please be sure to do that.

Dearborn Libraries

Dearborn Libraries

Starting June 1, patrons of all ages are invited to participate in the Dearborn Public Library’s summer reading program Imagine Your Story. Babies, children, teens, and adults can earn prizes by logging reading times and completing activity challenges. Visit https://dearbornlibrary.beanstack.org to get started. 

This year’s program will run through August 22. With current limited library services, prize winners will be contacted with instructions on how to pick up their prizes at a later date.  

Dearborn/Dearborn Heights residents who need library cards can apply for a temporary library card while the buildings remain closed in order to gain access to the library’s digital materials and databases. For more information on the library, please continue to check our website and follow us on social media (FacebookInstagramTwitter).

End of Year Car Parade

Hello Geer Park Families,

As we wrap up the school year, the Geer Park Team would like to say farewell and happy summer to all our students. On Thursday, June 11th,  we will be having an “End of Year” (car ) parade for all families from 1-2pm. Beginning at 1:00 pm, our team will be standing in front of the school to wave goodbye to our students.


 We ask that everyone begins the drive Eastbound on Prospect as you pass the school.

There will be no stopping, but a continuous flow of traffic to accommodate all families as we wave goodbye. We hope to see you there!

Reminder: This week is the week to go pick up personal belongings at the school. Many of you had things in your desk that belong to you. Also, if you earned a certificate, ordered the yearbook, those will be in the bag to take home as well.

  1. Parent Letter:

Dear Parent/Guardian,

On Tuesday, June 2nd, you will be able to pick up your child’s personal belongings from school.  In addition, you will receive your child’s year end certificates.  We are also asking that parents return some student items back to the school when they arrive.  For example, library books, LLI books, instruments & safety belts, etc. 

Please follow the established guidelines so we can ensure the safety of our students, parents, and staff members.  Please wear a mask during curbside pick-up.

Student Material Distribution – 

Student Material Distribution, Tuesday, June 2nd-

  1.  Parents will enter the staff/visitor parking lot.  Please remember to stay in your car for curbside pick-up.
  1. Student Personal Belongings will be distributed by staff members assigned to one of the  four locations adjacent to the parking lot.
  1. Parents/Students will stay in their vehicles at all times. 
  1. Please write your child’s full name on a sheet of paper and hand it to the staff member when you pull up.  Please write clearly and neatly. Thank you. 
  1. Remember, if you have an item that needs to be returned, please label it and bring it to school at that time.  For example, library books, LLI books, instruments & safety belts, etc. 
  1. We will be distributing belongings by last names.  It is important to come at the assigned times for quicker service.   Please see the times below:

   Last Name beginning with A:  10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

     Last Name beginning with B-M:  11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m 

     Last Name beginning with N-Z:  12:00 p.m – 1:00 p.m.
