Today we were introduced to our Figurative Language Projects. Students will have class time to work on these tomorrow.   We also took our Unit 2 Comprehension Test.

LIBRARY TOMORROW!

ISN’s will be collected for grading on Wednesday January 24th. Make sure your table of contents is up to date and you don’t have missing notes!

Unit 3 Vocabulary/Grammar test is also Wednesday. Practice is on Google Classroom and Quizlet. Study figurative language definitions and application, interjections, adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions, pronouns, and preposition application. Know the different types from your notes!

Homework

• 60 minutes reading chapter book (over the course of the week!) – I am meeting with ALL groups to discuss what book  you are reading at home this week and next week!

• One-Pager #3 & #4 – Due January 26th (5 days)

• Figurative Language Project due Thursday January 25th – be prepared to present!
