Today we went over our Student Handbook inside of our planners and discussed best ways to utilize our planners every day. We also began to understand what an “ISN” is (Interactive Student Notebook) and started to put our language arts ISNs together. We will finish this tomorrow and begin our practice “One-Pager” so students understand how to complete their homework next week.

- Summer Learning Book talk is due September 27th! Be prepared to present with your finished book talk on this day!
Summer Learning Expectation for all 6th graders:
Read 3-5 novels over the summer (no graphic novels). Be prepared to do a book talk when you arrive in the Fall! This won’t be due on the first day but if you would like to get a head start on the assignment I attached the directions and rubric!
