Reading logs~ Please make sure your child is filling out the reading log with the exception of the adult signature. This is very important for their growth as learners. Math~ End of Module 3 Assessment will be Wednesday, 3/11/20! A review will be completed in class.

7’s timed test will be 3/13/20!!

Zearn.org- Students are to complete 4 lessons a week!

Leader in Me~ We are working on Habit 7!! Sharpen the Saw!!! This habit explains how we need to take care of ourselves, mind, and body!!!

3/11- End of Module 3- Assessment.

3/12- 3rd Grade concert. Please have your child dressed concert style. They need to arrive in their classroom at 7:00 p.m.

3/13- 1/2 day!!! 11:45 a.m. dismissal.

3/16- M-Step & 3rd Grade Law parent informational meeting in room 211 at 2:45 p.m.

3/18- Late Start.

3/18- Dog Man the Musical Field Trip!!

3/5-Update

Good evening parents-

I hope this blog finds you all well. Tonight students took home their Mid-Module 3 assessment. Please sign and return.
Some students received a Zearn note as well. Please remember students are expected to complete 4 lessons a week. I do give time for this but what isn’t finished in class, please make sure they work at home. Zearn is a very important tool that overall helps their math skills. Thank you for your support with this.

March is Reading Month calendar. Please note your child can do these activities in any order. I hope you all are having fun with this!

Tomorrow is Crazy Sock Day!

Bingo for Books is tomorrow from 6:00-7:30! Come join in on the fun!

ELA~ Reading Logs- Due 3/9/20.

March is Reading Month~ Please keep track of your child’s reading on this calendar. After each activity is complete, have your child color the box. Make sure to initial it as well! Weekend Update 2/29/20

Good morning families~

Happy Leap Year!!

A couple of weekend updates…

Lansing Field Trip is Tuesday, March 3rd.

Here is the attached note that was sent home yesterday. I will be announcing which groups, the students are in, with their chaperones on Monday.

Here is a what the day will look like: Capitol Tour, Historical Museum, lunch at the science center. After students will be able to explore the science center, then we will head back home! Students need to be practicing their 6’s!!! Our next time test will be Friday, 2/18. If they do not pass with an 80% or higher they must re-take that digit.

Social Studies~ Lansing Field trip is 3/3!! A note with reminders will be sent home this week!!

Leader in Me~ Seven Habits- We are still Synergizing in our small groups daily!!

Happy Valentine’s Day!!

Happy Valentine’s Day! Thank you for making me feel extra loved today.❤️

We selected chaperones for our Lansing Field trip via lottery system today. Due to the amount of individuals allowed on the tour at the capitol building, we can only have 6 chaperones attend this trip. Every chaperone slip was placed inside a classroom bucket, and as a class we pulled 6 names at random. The chaperones we have pulled received a note in their child’s folder. If your name was not selected for this trip, you will be placed on the top of the list as chaperone for Dog Man the musical, if you would like to attend. In addition, if you can no longer make the field trip, please let me know ASAP, so that I can let another chaperone know. Thank you for being understanding and being supportive.

 The students received a packet to complete over break.

Friday-2/7/20- Timed test for 4’s!!!

ELA~ Nightly reading- 30-45 minutes.

Field Trip to Lansing~ Yesterday your child brought home the letter, chaperone form and permission slips for the Lansing Field Trip on 3/3. ALL MONEY & forms are due by 2/13!! Please make sure to turn in everything at once. We will have our lottery drawing for parent chaperones on 2/14 and will notify all parents who will be attending.

Candy Grams are due 2/7/20!

TOMORROW IS THE LAST DAY FOR THE BOOK FAIR!! Book fair hours are 12-4! Thank you to all the parents who have been volunteering to work this successful event.

Blue Ribbon shirts will be sent home today!! Make sure to wear these on Monday, 2/10. If you did not order one, show your Lindbergh pride by wearing the color blue for our Blue Ribbon celebration on 2/10!!
