Homework for Dec. 5th:
1. Writing: The students need to complete their T-Chart for their Opinion Prompt. This means they need to choose a side and highlight their top three reasons. They will need to orally explain their reasons and details from their T-Chart tomorrow.
2. Spelling: Test tomorrow. Activities due Tuesday, Dec. 10th.
3. Math: Study Links 3.4 and 3.5
4. MSLIP: Reread and finish questions.
Pizza Sale tomorrow after school!!!

Homework for tonight:
1. Literacy: Reread MSLIP chapter (s). Some groups have questions.
2. Math: Math Journal pg. 58, Activity sheet 3.3, Vocabulary definitions (prime number, composite number, square number, and turn-around facts). The students should take home their SRB’s for vocabulary.
3. Science: Finish Section 1-9 Adaptation on Animals.
4. Social Studies: Quiz tomorrow-People who Moved to Michigan.
There is a Pizza Sale Friday after school.

Good Afternoon Families,
I can’t believe it’s already December! The year is flying by. I hope all of you had a great break!
This week at a glance:
1. Math~ Students will be showing you their Math Unit 2- assessments. Please sign and have them return it tomorrow.
We started Unit 3 today. The students have two Study Links tonight for homework. This unit is mostly multiplication and division. Please make sure they are taking the time to study their facts!
We have two computation tests this week- tomorrow and Thursday the 5th.
2. Spelling- Test is Friday.
Activities are due next Tuesday, December 10th! I will be sending home a new way we will be doing activities. Please look out for that tomorrow or Wednesday!
3. Book-IT is due Thursday, December 19th.
4. Please make sure your child is reading every night for 30-45 minutes.

1. Feast is at noon in room # 309. You can bring in your items by 11:45 a.m. Please make sure to provide utensils your dish .
I look forward to a nice luncheon giving thanks.

3. No Spelling this week.

Good afternoon families,
I hope everyone is having a great start to the week.
A couple reminders:
1. Thanksgiving Feast-Tuesday, November 26th at noon in room 309. Please make sure to return the feast slip, which will let me know if you plan on providing something for that day. Thank you to those that have already returned theirs!!
IMPORTANT: Due to the lack of space, I would like your items brought to my classroom that day at 12:00 p.m. We do not have space for anything prior. Thanks in advance.
I will be providing the dessert, drinks and paper products!!! If you have any questions, please feel free to call, reply to this post, or write a note in your child’s planner. Families are welcome to stay for the Thanksgiving Feast!
2. The students have a Spelling and Math Assessment- Unit 2 on Friday, November 22nd.
3. Parent Teacher Conferences continue tomorrow- Wednesday, November 20th and Thursday, November 22nd. I look forward to meeting each of you and discussing your child’s progress thus far.

I hope everyone had a wonderful week. Here are some friendly reminders on what the students need to do over the weekend.
1. Study for their Spelling Test-Test is Monday! Activities are due Tuesday, November 19th.

3. BOOK-IT BINGO- I have only received a few. They are due next Friday the 22nd.
4. DTE ENERGY BOOKS/ COMPLETE LAST PAGE- Thank you to those whom already turned them in. We need 100% participation in this fun & educational activity.
