Good morning families,

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

It was such a pleasure to meet all of you at conferences these last couple weeks. Thank you so much for coming!! Your support is greatly appreciated!

This short week at a glance….

Spelling~ NO Spelling this week. We will review the previous words.

Math~ The students will continue working with decimals. I am adding a link for your child to visit. It is called Math Antics. It is a great website that shows videos of how to do algorithms. For example there is a video about double digit multiplication. This site reinforces the concept I taught in class! It is an excellent  reteaching tool.

Writing~ We are finishing up Opinion writing.

Tomorrow the students have an opportunity to visit the Book Fair. If you wish for your child to purchase books, please send them with money.

I am also adding another link. It is called Dance mat. It is an excellent site for the students to practice key boarding skills.

There will be NO boys club tomorrow!!!

Whether you are traveling near, far or not at all, relish the time with your family and have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Warmly,
Mrs. Currie
