I can not believe today is the last FULL day of school! What a beautiful year spent with your children!!!

Please join us tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. in the gym for the 5th Grade Promotional Ceremony!!!!

Please read the attached IMPORTANT  attached letter for your child’s summer learning that has to happen!!!! It is from Stout Middle School. They will need to do 60 minutes a week of math learning on Khan Academy. Their grades will be posted for their future 6th grade math teachers and counted!

Today is Wednesday, June 1, 2016.

I can not believe it is already June!!! The year has flown by!!!

Here are a few reminders about tomorrow’s bowling and picnic field trip.

1. The students will be bowling and having lunch until 12:00 ish at the bowling alley.
2. The bus will take us to Ford Woods park in the afternoon.
3. We will walk back to school around 2:15 p.m..
4. Parents please feel free to join us at the park. We will be in picnic area #2.
5. Students are NOT allowed to bring $$$ and electronic devices.
6. Please make sure they wear gym shoes and dress for the weather.
7. They are allowed to take any outdoor ball to play with, snacks and extra water for the park. They are responsible to carry their own things the WHOLE DAY!!!

Greenfield Village Field Trip! ALL DAY!

Please make sure your child dresses for the weather and wears comfortable shoes. We DO ALOT OF WALKING!!!

Please make sure the students bring a disposable lunch

I can’t believe it is already May!!!! Where has the year gone!

May will be a very busy month for our fifth graders!

Looking ahead:

Stout Field trip/visit~ Friday, May 13, 2016 from 9:15-11:30 a.m.

Greenfield Village Field trip~ Friday, May 20, 2016 from

9:00-2:30 p.m. (Permission slips & money due May 13th!!) Please indicate on the permission slip if you can chaperone. I would like to have at least 5 parents.

Clean- up Parade~ Wednesday, May 25th 9:30-11:00 a.m.

Student Showcase~ Wednesday, May 25th 2:45-3:30 p.m.

Native American Experience~ Thursday, May 26th at Maples.

NO SCHOOL FRIDAY MAY 27TH AND MONDAY MAY 30TH!!!!

Good afternoon families~

I hope all of you had a great weekend! Thank goodness this weather is shaping up!!!

A friendly reminder tomorrow Tuesday 4/12, Wednesday 4/13, Thursday 4/14 will be the ELA (English Language Arts) M-Step test!!!

PLEASE make sure that your child has a good night’s rest and eats breakfast!!!!  They will be sitting for long periods of time.

Also, please make sure they arrive to school on time, as we begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.

The students have worked really hard preparing for this assessment! I know they will do amazing!!

Welcome back from Spring Break! I hope everyone had a well rested vacation!

We are fast approaching with M-Step testing. Next week, 4/12-4/14 and 4/19-4/21 we will be testing.

While we understand that circumstances arise, we do appreciate your efforts to ensure your child is at school for the testing dates above.  Thanks again for all your help at home!!!
