Hello Families~

ELA update~ Due to the students interest with the book Wonder, as a class we decided to use this book as our next literature discussion group. I have asked the students to bring in a copy of the book. I understand that my timing is a bit off-due to the movie coming out on Friday!! It is super popular!

As of right now I have 2 copies & I just ordered 6 more. I appreciate those that have brought in a copy and/or have looked at numerous libraries.  In the meantime we will share or I will make it a whole group lesson. My goal is for each child to have their own copy by 11/27/17.  Please let me know if you have any questions. We are excited to start reading!!!!

New School Policy:

If your child brings a smart watch or cell phone to school, they are to leave it in to the office at the beginning of the day.  Then pick it up after the dismissal bell. Students are no longer permitted to keep these items in their lockers during the school day. Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this.

I hope to see you tonight at Leader in Me parent night and PTA meeting!

Best,

Mrs. Currie
