Tomorrow 6/13/18

Please have your child dress appropriately for Field Day! Sunscreen and bring a bottled water.

5th graders will be helping in the morning & we all will participate in the afternoon.

4th graders may bring in a board game to play in the morning tomorrow.

Besides report cards going home Thursday-tomorrow will be the last day for backpacks.

for Mr. Murua and Mrs. Ball,
Tuesday, June 12th, immediately following dismissal

–Field Day, Wednesday, June 13th

–5th Grade Promotion Ceremony,
Thursday, June 14th, 9:30 AM

–Last Day of School!
Thursday, June 14th, Half-day, 11:45 AM dismissal

Please join us on the blacktop behind the school on Tuesday, June 12th, immediately following dismissal, to congratulate and give our best wishes to Mr. Murua and Mrs. Ball as they leave Lindbergh.

Mr. Murua will continue his teaching career at O.L. Smith Middle School, and Mrs. Ball is retiring.
Please stop by to wish them well!  Cake will be provided.

Field Day is Wednesday, June 13th!

Here is some helpful information to help make the day fun for all students:

1)  Please have your student(s) wear sunscreen and footwear that is appropriate for outdoor activities, bring a hat, and bring a water bottle with their name on it.
2)  The lunch we will provide is cheese pizza, watermelon, chips, and popsicles.  Please have your child bring their own water bottle.  Young Fives through 2nd grade should also bring their morning snack.
3)  Sign up to help with Field Day!  We need class volunteers, lunch volunteers, and lots of watermelon!

We will be collecting these items and offering them next Fall to incoming or current students! Please drop any clothing donations in the bin outside the office before the school year ends!

The PTA has some positions to fill!

–Some Board positions are opening up for the 2018-19 school year!  The PTA will need a Secretary and a Father Vice-President!  Please consider taking on one of these positions.  Contact Erin McNally (erin.mcnally19@gmail.com) if you have questions or are interested.

Tomorrow we will be having pizza around 1:30 p.m. The students will go to lunch & can eat a little bit before the pizza is delivered at 1:30 p.m. They may bring a drink (no pop please), and another snack, if they would like. We will be watching a Wrinkle in Time.

The last week of school….6/11-6/14

Good morning families~

Here are the last week of school’s happenings!!!

Monday, 6/11/18- 5th Grade Pool Party/Picnic- Swimsuits, towels, sunscreen, water and any other essentials- do not forget!!!!

4th graders will be split up & will be spending the day with either Ms. Knaus or Mrs. Wilkie.

Tuesday, 6/12/18- Book Exchange, Leadership Buddies in the morning!

Afternoon party provided by me! We will be watching A Wrinkle in Time.

Wednesday, 6/13/18- Field Day! DO NOT FORGET TO WEAR SUNSCREEN!

5th graders will be helping with field day all morning, and then in the afternoon the whole class will participate!!! 4th graders please bring in a board game to play in the morning.

Thursday, 6/14/18- LAST DAY!!! JUST BRING YOUR YEARBOOK AND A PEN FOR SIGNING!

5th Grade Promotion 9:30 a.m. in the auditorium.

Report Cards will be sent home-11:45 a.m. dismissal.

TOMORROW JUNE 8th is LOCKER CLEAN-OUT!!! I can provide some trash bags but please feel free to have your child bring in any extra bags, they may need.
