I hope everyone is having a great week!!
I posted new assignments: Math, Social Studies & ELA. I tried a screencast for ELA, it is my first go around, thank you in advance for your patience..:))
I met with Group A on Monday, using the Big Blue Button through I-Learn. It was successful, I will be trying this again today. If I feel we can move forward, I will inform the families and meet with the remainder of the groups next week.
I emailed individual folders yesterday, which included the students work completion from last week. Please look through this with your child. Let me know if you have any questions.

Week at a glance for 4/27-5/1.
Good afternoon families~
I hope everyone is having a nice weekend.
WARNING LONG BLOG POST! Apologies in advance.
Google Meets are still postponed. So as a result, I have self-taught over the weekend the new live platform the district is permitting teachers to use with students. I have asked the group, I meet with on Monday’s to be my “test” group. This is to see if it will be a feasible platform and user friendly for all families. I emailed the Monday group parents the information. So far 5 students have joined I-Learn successfully!! YAY! This new platform will only be used for LIVE (synchronous) sessions. All assignments will continue to be posted in Google Classroom, business as usual!!
I hope you all signed up for Google Classroom Guardian Summaries. The summaries are sent via email on Friday’s-stating the assignments posted for the week. It does not list what was completed or still missing. With that, I will send you each an email Monday-Tuesday of all work completion from the previous week. I will begin grading these assignments now as well. Students are graded on effort, and participation. I will comment/feedback on their Google Classroom assignments and also give feedback on the doc, I send to parents. This takes some time, so bear with me on giving feedback for each assignment. Thank you.

Good morning! Happy Friday!
First of all, thank you for your patience and grace!
Apologies again, for the district postponing Google Meets until further notice. Hopefully it will be quickly resolved, and we can go back to business on Monday. I will be sure to communicate this with everyone, as soon as I find out. I will be posting a video in the ELA classroom. The video will be posted in a couple hours. Due to the short notice last night of the Google Meets being postponed- I need some time, as my son will be recording me..:) It is going to be something light and fun too!!

NO GOOGLE MEETS TOMORROW 4/24/20.
Dear families- Sorry for the late blog post. Due to a BRAND new district protocol as of 8:00 tonight, there will be no google meets until further notice. I am so so sorry to have to share this news with you. I plan on recording my session. Please look out for a new blog post tomorrow morning, explaining how this will work.

I hope this post finds everyone healthy and safe. We will be implementing the “Continuity Remote Learning Plan” from the district beginning tomorrow. I believe much will not change. I am adding more Google Meets to the week, to instruct & guide students in small & whole groups. A grading and attendance policy will be implemented as well. Dr. Maleyko shared this on Friday.
