Good morning families~
I wanted to update all of you that I had 3 students go home with fevers this morning and one student already home sick with one. Such a bummer! I hope these are not more cases of strep too.
Please note- Students are not to be back in school until they are fever-free for 24 hours and also off any fever-reducing medications.
I am making sure all students wash their hands before and after lunch. I have been cleaning the classroom since I returned yesterday as well! The biggest help with prevention of this virus is washing hands..
I just do not want anyone else in your families to get sick, especially being that the holidays are just around the corner.
Thank you for all the donations of Kleenex and Clorox wipes!
As always, please let me know if you have any questions!
Have a great rest of the day.
Mrs. Currie

Update 11/30/18
Good afternoon families~
I hope this reaches everyone well.
I wanted to share that we have at least 2 confirmed cases of Strep throat in the classroom. I am waiting on other families to confirm if their child has also tested positive for strep. I had 6 students absent today. A note will be sent home tonight in regards to the confirmed strep throat. With that being said- I am in need of clorox wipes! I wipe down their tables numerous times a week along with any other areas, I feel we can spread germs. We cleaned today as a class!!! Thanks in advance for this.
Just a friendly reminder, to not send your child to school if they have a fever, bundle them up as the weather will be remaining cold, drink lots of water, get plenty of rest, and send extra tissues for their noses! Thank you very much for your help with this! We want everyone to remain healthy especially with the holidays approaching.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Please read below the wonderful upcoming happenings here at Lindbergh!
