Update!!! Thursday, January 9, 2020.
Good afternoon~
Math update~ Most everyone has taken the Module 2- Assessment. We can now begin Module 3. Students will be taking home their Math Learn book that we just finished. I distributed the new book for Module 3-4 this morning, it stays at school.
Zearn.org- Please make sure your child is completing 4 Zearn lessons a week.
Starting next week, we will be having weekly timed multiplication tests. Look out for a letter going home about this. This letter will entail ways to help ensure your child’s success!
3rd graders will be heading to Lansing come March. So with that in mind- Mrs. Robey and myself would love it, if all 3rd graders could wear the new Lindbergh shirts! We could show off with pride our two accomplishments- Lighthouse school status and becoming a Blue Ribbon school!
Thank you to those that already placed their order.
Also, there is only one color, which is Royal for all shirts. Apologies for the mis-communication on the order form. If you need another order form-I have attached it here. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1ldpbkdROx4U09wMVljYWhLX09wTzVheUdUclczc014ank4/view
Order forms are due 1/14/20.
Homework tonight~ Our next at home family project for Leader in Me are Snowflakes. As a family, please fill in the snowflake on how you fill each others emotional bank accounts. Make sure your child cuts out the snowflake and writes their name on it. Please return, as soon as possible. Thank you!
Homework~ A “new” yet revised district mandate was implemented last month. It is all 3rd graders will be able to write in legible print and cursive. In order for my students to move on to cursive. We are having a refresher in print! Tonight, I am sending home the letter b, uppercase and lower case. Please go over this with your child. Thank you in advance for this.
ELA~ Spelling slide shows are due tomorrow. There is a spelling test tomorrow as well. List attached.
