Good morning~

Happy March!

Here is what’s happening this week. Long post- March is a very busy month!

ELA~

Spelling- New words and Google slide shows.

Ungifted- Continue reading and answering comprehension questions.

March is Reading Month~ I will be checking reading logs weekly. If your child reads for the whole week, they will be entered to win won of the fabulous LEGO baskets!! First reading log check is 3/11.

Today we celebrate Dr. Seuss!!!

Math~

Both grades will have a review today and assessments tomorrow.

Social Studies~

Travel Brochure presentations.

Science~

Continue with Mysteries.

Leader in Me:

Habit 5- Seek First to Understand Then to be Understood. This habit teaches us to listen to others’ ideas and feelings. Our class will be practicing attentive listening. Ask your child, “What does it mean to listen attentively?”

3/15- Popcorn Friday

3/19- Symphony field trip

3/22- Leadership Day!

3/28- 4/5 & 5th grade concert 7:15 p.m.
