Weekly PTA update!!

–Science Fair Boot-Camp, Thursday, April 26th, 5:30-7:30 PM

–Popcorn Friday, April 27th

Next week:

–PTA Meeting, Tuesday, May 1st, 7 PM

–Pennies for Patients fundraiser ends,
Friday, May 4th
We are teaming with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Michigan to conduct their Pennies for Patients Fundraiser.
This Fundraiser runs until May 4th!
Pennies for Patients raises money for children with pediatric cancer.
All the money collected during this period will be donated to this charity and all collections will be dispersed in the state of Michigan.

~~UPDATE!  We’ve already reached our $750 goal, but please continue to collect donations through May 4th!  The PTA will sponsor a pizza party for the 2nd and 3rd place classrooms, while the winning class will receive a lunch from the Olive Garden.  Thank you for your generosity,

Our final Scholastic book fair is coming soon and
this one is everyone’s favorite!
Yes, it is time for the BOGO sale!  
Dates are Monday, May 14 (Preview Day)-Thursday, May 17.
The book fair will be open for sales Tuesday through Thursday from noon-4.  We are looking for volunteers to help the book fair run smoothly.  Please consider signing up!

Lindbergh’s annual Red Cross Blood Drive will be on
Wednesday, May 9th, from 2:30-8:30 PM  in the Cafeteria.

Additionally, Sireen Bazzi’s piece, “Humans for Humanity,” won an Honorable Mention award at the State-level of judging.  All of our participants will be honored in May at a District ceremony.

The PTA has some positions to fill!

–Some Board positions are opening up for the 2018-19 school year!  The PTA will need a Secretary and a Father Vice-President!  Please consider taking on one of these positions.  Contact Erin McNally (erin.mcnally19@gmail.com) if you have questions or are interested.
