This week we will be working on finding points on a coordinate plane. Our quiz for this won’t be until we come back from break.
Students need to be focusing in on the next NWEA test. The math part will be given Jan 8, 9 and 10. Students were advised that if on this test they score 2 or more grade levels below 6th grade then they will have to go to summer school at Woodworth to catch up on these math skills.
So how can you improve your score???? In December for bell work, we have been working on the numeracy part of the NWEA by practicing these skills in ixl. Now we are going to take are Fall NWEA scores and practice statistics and geometry in Khan. Over break, you may want to practice Khan as well. Studies show that students who practice these skills with Khan or ixl will increase their score on the next NWEA test.
