Final Literary Letter

Final Literary Letter-Reflection on the Year

For the final card-marking Literary Letter you will still write in letter format (with Dear Mrs. Corriveau, write specific paragraphs and sign your name), but the focus will be more reflective on your year of reading.

Please use the following outline:

Dear Mrs. Corriveau,

Paragraph #1-Describe yourself as a reader. How often do you read and where/when do you like to read? Tell me here how many books you have completed this year and which one was your favorite?

Paragraph #2-Describe what you do when you hit a “roadblock” in your reading. Either a boring book, or very challenging vocabulary.

Paragraph #3- Tell me what you think has been your greatest accomplishment this year as far as reading? What have you done to help make this accomplishment possible?

Paragraph #4-Reflect on how you have changed from the beginning of the year to the end of the year as a reader. This could include how you read, how much you read, how you handled “roadblocks”….etc. If you feel no changes have taken place, please tell me what it is you do that makes you successful as a reader and what your plan is to keep that up once you head to high school.

Sincerely,

Your name here 🙂

Please remember your final literary letter follows a different format (above) and is due tomorrow when you walk through the door.
