Tomorrow’s Class: Monday 09/24

Hello everyone, I hope you had a great weekend. Mine was a little tough since my son was running a really high fever and I had to monitor him. Here is an update:

  • I was not able to input the grades since as I told you I was taking care of my son. I will be finalizing that quiz grade tomorrow
  • I will NOT BE in class tomorrow because my son cannot go to school until Tuesday.
  • You will see that I have changed the seats into tables since you will be working on a 2 day project sometime this week, if classes were good and all students on task, we will keep the seats in table will will help us get more space in the room
  • We will be starting chapter 1. I like to start that chapter with section 3 for a reason.
  • Tomorrow you will be using the textbook p99,100 and 101. You will see for each given functions: graphs, equation and important facts. You are supposed to copy all those functions in your notebook notes section. Graphs do not have to be 100% accurate, just the general shape and important point.
  • Don’t forget the header with your name, hour, date, title: chapter 1 section 1.3 p 99,100,101.
  • After copying those graphs you will be working on matching problems 106#1-12 and page 152#1-10.. I know the answer to those problems are just a letter, but you will be help accountable of the objective: identifying functions, their graphs and equations. SO please make sure you accurately work on those problems and have a discussion in your group to explain and share your answers.
  • On Tuesday, I will launch the mini project and we will have the one to one talk about the quizzes
  • For this week, expect an SAT quiz icked from bellwork problems that we have done so far, this quiz could help you raise your grade.

  • We talked about the Discriminant and students took guide notes
