Monday 04/13 (week after spring break)

Welcome back! We will continue working on section 5.2 (proving trig identities) and today’s assignment will be p418#19-32. Those problems will be due tmorrow Tuesday 04/14 around 7pm. After I receive the assignment, I will be posting a video to explain. Watching videos will be part of whether you are considered “responding to assigned work or not”.

Thursday 04/02

Please submit 5.2 practice problems p418#11-18 through email. Each email has to have your name and title of the assignment on the subject line (example: chocor, sarah- 5.2 practice problems p418#11-18) . All assignments will be logged in to mistar next week and phone calls will be made home to students who are not completing any assignment. Make sure to watch the 2 new videos that will be posted tomorrow morning (since I have to reveive all assignments by midnight before I post the videos). You tube views will be marked as participation points.

Update about MDE annoucement

Hello Students,

I just wanted to update you on the fast-moving situation regarding our online classes. This afternoon, Governor Gretchen Whitmer expressed her “dismay” about the Michigan Department of Education’s statement, releasing her own statement assuring educators and parents that this time could possibly count. The MDE released its original statement because in order for our time to count, the Michigan legislature must change the law; the MDE has no power here. So what does that mean for us? *It is very possible—even likely—that our time online will count. So keep working.* Our state lawmakers do not want to anger parents and educators across the state. So let’s keep our momentum going.
