  • Today I passed back chapter 4 retakes
  • Bell work: students had to compare their answers to the 10 SAT word problems
  • Answers were shared
  • We completed example 4 and 5 of simplifying trig expressions (section 5.1 day 3)

Today’s Class: Friday 03/08

  • We passed back lots of papers, if you were absent today, make sure you check with me so I can give you your assignments back.
  • No bellwork since students were retaking chapter 4 in class
  • The students who were not retaking had to work on SAT word problems , write them annotate them and show their work.
  • If you were retaking you have to make up the word problems during the weekend.

Today’s Class: Thursday 03/07

  • Students who are willing to retake chapter 4 will be working in class on redoing the chapter 4 homework problems.
  • I will be going around and answering questions
  • STudents who are not planning to retake will be working on completing the following assignments.
  • SAT Word Problems Practice
  • Students have to rewrite the problems in their notebook (bellwork tab), annotate the questions, show their work.

  • I can find all trig ratios using a triangle, given a point on the terminal side of an angle p347#7-12
  • I can find all trig functions given 1 trig function p348#43-48
  • I can graph by hand the 6 parent trig functions (section 4.4-4.5 notes)
  • I can solve equations with trig functions using the unit circle (p366#29-34)
  • I can simplify expressions with inverse trig functions (p385#1-12)
  • I can simplify expressions with a composition of trig and inverse trig functions (p385#23-32)
  • I can label the unit circle with randian, degree angles and x,y coordinates clockwise (negative ) and counterclockwise (section 4.3 notes)
