Happy Wednesday!

Hello! Just another reminder that children should still be working on iready, zearn, reading responses and the science activity that I included in yesterday’s blog.

Some children are doing an AMAZING job! Thank you to the parents who are going above and beyond to help their child get ready for 3rd or 4th grade!

Please keep in touch if you are having any difficulties motivating your child or getting your child organized! Also, keep an eye on your email, I will notify you if your child is falling behind.

Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Good Afternoon!

I hope everyone had an Eid Mubarak and a great Memorial Day!! It seems like summer came overnight! I was not ready for this hot weather!!

Please don’t forget that your child needs to continue working on iready (30 minutes per day), zearn (one lesson per day) and one reading response per day until June 11th! It’s hard for kids to stay focused when the weather gets “summery”…

I have added our last science lesson that your child needs to complete sometime this week. When they are done, please send me a picture of their completed activity.

Lesson 4 Trait Variation, Inheritance, & Artificial Selection How could you make the biggest fruit in the world? 20 min Exploration 35 min Activity: Odd One Out

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me….I am happy to help!

Have a great day!

Happy Thursday!

Just a reminder that according to the school schedule, tomorrow will be a day off for students as well as Monday for Memorial Day. Parents, you should be getting a robocall from the district indicating that these are days off and your child is not responsible for doing classwork on those days.

Save the date: The date for student personal items to be picked up is June 2nd. I will be at the school next week to bag and label their items. There will be a specific time to pickup, but those times have not been determined yet.

Please keep your child working on iready, zearn, reading responses and social studies today….again, thank you for all the support you’ve shown helping your child get ready for the next grade!

Happy Eid to all those that celebrate, and have a great weekend!

Wednesday Greetings!

Good afternoon! I hope all are well and ready to get back to some normalcy!!

Still no word on when you can come by to get your child’s personal items. I will keep you posted.

Thank you for keeping your child working on iready, zearn, reading responses and social studies! Most of the kids are doing a great job focusing on getting ready for the next school year!!

A shout out to Adam and Jasmine who completed their science activity from last week!

Let me know if you have questions or concerns, have a great day!

Good Afternoon!

Hopefully, the rain will stop and we can get out to enjoy the weather!

The principal is coming up with a plan to get us (the teachers) back in the classroom to bag up the students personal items. I will keep you updated about a schedule for you to come and pick up their supplies that were left in their desk. We will also want you to bring back book bags and library books at that time….but stay tuned for more information!!

Thank you for keeping your child working on iready and zearn! Don’t forget that it is important that your child complete a Reading Response each day! Some children are doing a FANTASTIC job, others not so much. Ask your child today if they completed their Reading Response!

Yesterday, I assigned Social Studies on MobyMax. Please make sure your child is working on that daily this week!

Thank you so much for your support! As always, let me know if you have questions or concerns. Have a great day…..

Happy Monday!

I hope everyone is doing well! After all of this rain everything is looking green and lush. The plants are blooming!

This week in addition to the iready, zearn and reading responses the students are doing, I have assigned a Social Studies lesson on Citizenship. Have your child go to clever, click on MobyMax and choose social studies. The lesson will automatically pop up! There are several lessons, so have your child work on one a day until completed!

A big shout out to Rianna, Yasmeen and Youssef who completed their Science Activity from last week!

Have a great day everyone!
