Tomorrow is Quiet Day, and we also have Art and Math Enrichment. On Wednesday we have a Wolf Den and practice for the Spring Sing.  Thursday the Spring Sing takes place at 5:30 on the Houston Street side of the School.  Friday is Field Day!

We will be reviewing Math and Spelling this week.  We are also in the midst of a Social Studies Economics unit.

If you have not already done so, please send the Field Trip permission slip and money.  All monies are due on Thursday!

We had lots of fun at the 5th grade mall today!  Please don’t forget field trip permission slips and money next week.

Make sure your child reads 20-30 minutes tonight, Saturday and Sunday.

Please come out and join our kindergarten  through fourth grade students in the“Spring Sing”  music  concert. The concert will be held on Thursday, June 8th.  Please be aware that this concert will be held  outdoors. We will be singing on the blacktop on the Houston side of the building. Please bring lawn chairs or blankets along with you,  then come out and watch our students perform.  Students should wear comfortable clothing, nothing that is too dressy.  Students should arrive about 5:15pm and we will be starting at 5:30pm.

Homework for tonight: Read 20-30 minutes and practice multiplication facts.  We will have a timed multiplication test tomorrow as well as Music.  Students will also be visiting the 5th Grade Mall in the afternoon.

Tomorrow is Pajama Day!

Tomorrow we will have Music, as a matter of fact, it is also M-Day…Mismatch day.

We are in the home stretch.  Our spelling lessons are complete and we will have only review for the rest of the year.

We are finishing up our Social Studies Unit 4 (the growth of Michigan), finishing up our Science Unit (Earth’s Materials) and will begin the review of Measurement and Data in Math.  We will also quickly cover Economics in Social Studies before we leave for summer break.

Please don’t forget to return Field Trip permission slips and money as soon as possible….

Your child will be bringing home their Unit 9 Math test.  Please review, sign and return for extra credit.  If your child did not pass the test, please follow the directions on the attached letter, do corrections with your child, sign and return.

Tomorrow we will have our PBIS party for April and May.  Every child in our class made the party!  They will have a popsicle and a movie in the gym from 2:30-3:00.  They will still have Gym from 3:00-3:15, so gym shoes are a must!

Homework: Study for a Science quiz and a Spelling test! Spelling activities are also due.

Tomorrow is Lollipop Day. Mrs. Davis has generously offered to supply the lollipops!  Thank you Mrs. Davis!
