Happy Sunday!

Good Afternoon!  I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weekend!

Elementary students will have a FULL DAY of school tomorrow.  (sometimes this is confusing because middle school has a half day)

Tomorrow we will have Gym and Library.  Make sure your child brings their gym shoes and library books back.  We will also finish the Math NWEA tomorrow (for those that did not finish).  The kids are doing great!  So far, ALL of them have beat their fall score!!

The 3rd graders have one more NWEA to go this week:  Science.  I will keep you updated as to what days this will be administered.

scroll, throw, shrank, spring, sprain, hundreds, thousands, millions, government, eardrum.

churn, clerk, third, first, burst, be, were, after, over, never.

Hello Parents!

Tomorrow is a half-day! We will have Writing Enrichment and students will be dismissed at 11:45 am.

Homework: Read 20-30 minutes, spelling activities and reading logs are due.  We will have another Bubblegum Challenge. Make sure your child is practicing their multiplication facts!

Good Afternoon!

We are working hard on our Math NWEA! Tomorrow we will continue through the test.  Lots of sleep and a good breakfast will really help the focus!!

Homework: Read 20-30 minutes, spelling activities, practice multiplication facts and some children have a division worksheet to complete.

Tomorrow we have Media Enrichment and Music.

Except for a few people, our Reading NWEA is finished until spring.  MOST students beat their fall score!  Keep up the good work!!  Tomorrow we will begin the Math NWEA.  Please make sure your child gets enough rest and a good breakfast!

Homework for tonight: Read 20-30 minutes (with a reading response), work on spelling activities and practice multiplication facts.

Tomorrow we will have Art.

It’s a great day for all of you football fans out there!  (Sorry Football Widows, at least there is the mall!!)

This week will be another busy week!  We will have the Math NWEA on Wednesday and Thursday.  There are still some children that need to finish the Reading NWEA…we will complete that as well.

Friday is the end of the marking period, so there will be a half day on Friday for students.  Teachers will be finalizing their report card grades in the afternoon.  Please make sure if your child has work that needs to be completed, it is completed by Friday!

Spelling words this week are as follows:

Third Grade: drum, frying, price, train, track, predict, multiplication, author, lumber, frequency.

Second Grade: part, park, sort, horse, short, for, are, work, warm, carry.

Tomorrow we will have Gym and Library.  Gym shoes are required and make sure your child brings in their library books for return.
