A big THANK YOU goes out to the Snow PTA! They generously donated two great books to our classroom to add to our library. Also for their hard work to put together and work the Book Fair all last week!!
Tomorrow we will have Gym and Library…make sure your child wears their gym shoes and brings back their library books. We will be checking new ones out tomorrow.
Spelling words for this week are as follows:
3rd grade words: tickle, puddle, table, bubble, riddle, model, sentence, capital, conflict, defend.
2nd grade words: cage, pledge, large, range, indulge, into, so, on, we, me.

Parents, please make sure your child is reading and writing over the vacation! We do have homework this week: Read 20-30 minutes each night with a reading response, practice multiplication facts, complete a word problem worksheet and write a creative story based on a picture. The kids can spread out the work to do a little bit each day…still leaves time to visit with relatives and friends.

Little Caesars Pizza Kits will be delivered to school Wednesday, April
11th! We are looking for volunteers to help us with organizing/sorting
them and then distributing them to everyone. We will start sorting at
1:30p.m on April 11th. Pickup is from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30p.m. Please let
the PTA or Ms. Sherlock know if you can help out. The more people, the
faster it goes!
We do not have any storage in the freezer to hold your items overnight
and they must be kept cold so please make arrangements to pick up your
order.

Tomorrow we have gym (gym shoes required) and library. During our library time, we will be shopping at the Book Fair! If you would like your child to make a purchase, please put their money in an envelope labeled with their name. If they are only browsing, they will need to revisit the Book Fair during Literacy night or after school. ( Students will not be allowed to return to the Book Fair during instructional time. )
Literacy Night will take place after school from 4-5:15 pm on Monday. Hope to see you there!
