Tomorrow we have a playground cleanup for Earth Day.  Make sure your child brings some gardening gloves…we also have Gym and Library.  Please have your child wear their gym shoes and bring in their library books.

Good Afternoon!

Monday we will be cleaning the school grounds for Earth Day.  Please make sure your child brings gardening gloves or some type of gloves if they don’t want to get their hands dirty.  We will also have a Used Book Sale in the Lobby after school Monday.  All gently used books are 25 cents.

Homework: Read 20-30 min. each night with a reading response.  3rd grade graphic organizer for social studies is due Monday.

Homework for tonight is to read 20-30 minutes and practice multiplication facts.

Tomorrow we have Writing Enrichment.

Thank you to the parents who have sent in a box of tissue!  If you are still thinking about sending one in, we would all appreciate it!

Save the date: Monday after school, we will have a Book Swap.  Students may purchase a gently used book after school for 25 cents each.  The Book Swap will be in the Lobby.

Also, the drawing for the boys and girls bike will be on Monday.  Students have been earning tickets as they turn in their reading logs.

Monday, students are asked to wear blue for “Care to the Core” Day.  We will have an assembly at the end of the day.  Students who were chosen to share their poem will do that in front of the student body on Monday.

Homework for this weekend: Read 20-30 minutes each night (with a reading response).  The 3rd graders will have a quiz on line segments, angles, parallel and perpendicular lines.
