Good Afternoon! Thank you to parents who signed up today for clementines and a fruit tray.  Any takers for the veggie tray?  Our holiday celebration will start at about 2:00 pm and end at 2:45 when we go to the sing along.  We will play a game or watch a holiday cartoon while we eat our snacks.

Homework for tonight: Read 20-30 minutes, spelling activities are due.

It’s not too late to sign up to have your child bring a healthy treat!  We have a fruit tray, a veggie tray or clementines open on our sign up sheet.  (The sign up sheet is outside our classroom door)  If you can’t get to the school, please email me and I will add your name to the list!

Please be on the lookout for the IReady Diagnostic printout in your child’s homework folder.  It will give you some information about what your child needs to work on in school.  Any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to discuss the results with you.  (This will not be on their report card, it just helps us focus on what your child needs help with.)

Please make sure your child reads 20-30 minutes tonight, starts their spelling activities and studies for their Module 3 math test.

Good afternoon!  We have a full week of school this week before the break.  I am planning on giving the children a Module 3 study guide for math tomorrow, then the math test on Tuesday.  We will do spelling, but the words are seasonal fun words:

Santa, sleigh, reindeer, presents, jingle, bells, snowman, ornaments, garland, candy canes.

Friday we will have a small Holiday Party before our Sing-Along.  We saw Jump with Jill last week, and it inspired us to have healthy treats for our party.  I will post a sign up sheet outside my classroom door if you would like to send a healthy treat for our class.  The list will include: Fruit Tray or Fruit Kabobs, Veggie Tray, water bottles, clementines, bananas, cheese and crackers.

Tomorrow we have Writing Enrichment and library.  Please make sure your child brings back their borrowed books.

Hello Parents!

A big shout out to the parents who came for our Math Meeting!  We had fun practicing our sprints and learning a little bit about Eureka Math!

Spelling activities are due tomorrow, and your child has to complete Math pg. 161 and read 20-30 minutes tonight.  Don’t forget to have your child study for the spelling test!
