If your child goes to Mrs. Kierney on Thursdays for math help, it is cancelled for tomorrow.  Mrs. Kierney will be out.

We had an AWESOME field trip to the Ann Arbor Hands On Museum!  Look for the letter that your child wrote about it!!

Greetings Parents!

Our spelling words for this week focus on contractions:

didn’t, can’t, they’ve, we’ve, she’ll, we’ll, he’s, she’s, wouldn’t, couldn’t.

Please make sure your child begins their spelling activities, reads 20-30 minutes tonight and completes their math homework.  We will not have Gym tomorrow.

Tomorrow is our Field Trip to Ann Arbor Hands on Museum!

If you are a chaperone, please look for a note in your child’s homework folder!  All parents: Make sure you send a bag lunch with your child labeled with their name!

We will also have the opportunity to visit the Museum Store, so your child is allowed to bring a few dollars to spend.

Penny Wars update!

Penny War day 3 – we are half way through this battle. How is your class doing? For now, the battle appears to be between fourth and second grades.

Penny War continues through Friday. Pennies AND bills are positive points for your class. Silver coins (quarters, nickels and dimes) subtract from that class. Collection jugs are outside the office before and after school.
