Please make sure your child reads tonight, works on spelling activities and completes Lesson 1 (Module 7) Math.

Greetings!

Please make sure your child reads 20-30 minutes tonight and begins their spelling activities.  The spelling words this week focus on suffixes-er, -est, -ing, -ed:

bigger, biggest, faster, fastest, liked, liking, looked, looking, talked, talking.

We will begin the Math NWEA tomorrow.  Make sure your child visits Zearn.org tonight to sharpen their skills!

Thursday News

We had a wonderful Clean Up Parade!  Thank you to all who turned out to help us or cheer us on!!

Tomorrow spelling activities are due and we will have our spelling test.  Please make sure your child reads 20-30 minutes tonight.

SNOW ELEMENTARY

CITY BEAUTIFUL PARADE AGENDA

MAY 16, 2019

We will start on Culver at front of school. Parade will be led by 5th grade, then 4th, then 3rd… etc.

March and end up on Houston please see the map.

Ceremony will be on the blacktop on back playground.

Please sit your class.  There will be a mark where 5th grade will sit in the back.  Each grade will file in in front of them as we are marching in order:

If you need to know where we are marching, here are the directions:

We will start on Culver in front of the school, turn north to Texas.  We will proceed east on Texas to Hollywood.  We will turn south on Hollywood to Carlysle.  On Carlysle we will march southwest to Houston.  We will turn north on Houston to the back of the school and proceed to the Upper El. playground.  That is where the ceremony will take place.
