Reminder: We will be off for the Labor Day weekend. No school on Friday and Monday.

Good Afternoon Parents! We had a great day today (even though it got a little hot).

There is no homework assigned, but your child might have to complete some fun activities we did in our classroom. Please make sure they return their homework folder tomorrow.

I will be sending out a specials schedule to you soon, but just so you know, we have Art and Media Enrichment tomorrow afternoon.

We had a great start to our year today!

In my note I sent home, I mentioned that parents needed to check the emergency card and return it. The office has informed me that all of that has been done online, and if you need to update an emergency card, you can now do it remotely.

Tomorrow will be a full day, so please make sure your child brings in a healthy snack for midmorning. Also, we have a new food service vendor, so students will get exposed to a new variety of foods! If your child packs, please make sure that they bring it in a lunch container labeled with their name.

I hope everyone has a great afternoon and please make sure your child brings their homework folder back tomorrow. We will need it in their desk everyday so that they can bring home any homework or unfinished work.

Tomorrow is a half day.  Your child does not have to bring a backpack, but if you would like them to have a snack, you can send it in.  Dismissal is at 11:45 tomorrow.

Tomorrow is the 5th grade vs. teachers Kickball Game.  Here is a message:

Students may bring a beach towel or small blanket to sit on to watch the 5th grade vs. teachers kickball game tomorrow afternoon.

Tomorrow we also have Gym.  Make sure your child wears gym shoes.  And make sure that your child is still reading every night!
