Hello parents! Tomorrow spelling activities are due. Please make sure your child reads 20 minutes and completes their math assignment. Second grade needs to complete lesson 5 and third grade needs to complete lesson 2.

Good Afternoon everyone! Tomorrow is our Fire House Field Trip. This will only be a half day (morning) so we will be back for lunch.

Please make sure your child reads and works on spelling tonight. We will have Music tomorrow.

Monday News

Hello there! There is no school tomorrow! Your child came home with their pictures today. If you don’t like them retakes are November 26th.

Please make sure that your child reads 20 minutes tonight and tomorrow night and writes a reading response. They can begin their spelling. Spelling words this week are:

music, honor, olive, tiger, rewind, perimeter, opinion, topic, refract, decade.

For math homework, second graders need to complete lesson 4 and third graders will complete lesson 1.

Good Afternoon Parents!

Tomorrow we will have Library check out and Writing Enrichment. Also, just a reminder, Tuesday will be no school for students.

Thursday is our field trip to the Dearborn Fire Department and our first round of parent/teacher conferences begin. Please remember to check your child’s folder for the conference time, sign and return the bottom portion as soon as possible.

I hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend…please make sure that your child reads 20 minutes each night and does a reading response.

Today is end of the card marking…that means Parent Teacher Conferences start soon. Your child brought home a conference reminder slip. Please review the day and time to see if it works for you. Complete the bottom portion, sign and return to me as soon as possible.

If you cannot make the conference time, let me know and we can work something out either at another time or before/after school.

Wednesday News

Good afternoon! Tomorrow is Halloween! Your child is allowed to wear their costume (if they want to, no pressure!) as long as they do not bring a play weapon, wear a mask or scary face paint. We will have the Halloween Parade starting at 2:30 on Thursday.

Homework for tonight: Reading and spelling. I also think I neglected to put the spelling words on my blog this week. They are:

letter, soccer, kitten, button, tunnel, decimal, also, heading, opaque, timeline.

As always, the activities are due on Friday.

Note: Friday is a half day, students will be dismissed at 11:45 am.

Good Afternoon! Homework for tonight is to read and work on spelling activities. Second graders have to complete Math Lesson 3.

Tomorrow is the last day of the Book Fair. If your child was unable to purchase on Monday, and would like to please send in money labeled with their name.

We will have Art and Media Enrichment tomorrow.
