Tomorrow is a half day!

Good Morning! If your child is on the B-schedule, Friday will be a half day for them. School will start at the usual time (9:40) and end at 12:45. No lunch will be served. Please make arrangements for your child to be picked up at Door #2 at 12:45.

If your child is on the A-schedule, they will check in with me at the usual time of 8:40. Please make sure your child gets on zoom on time, our meeting usually doesn’t last very long!

REMINDER: On your child’s Asynchronous Day (the day they are working from home) they need to be doing Zearn online and iReady online! This is in addition to attending the special area teachers zoom.

Thank you for your support!

Happy Sunday!

Good Afternoon parents! Tomorrow we begin a whole week of Hybrid Learning! Please make sure your child brings their LEARN book to school tomorrow as well as their homework folder. They should have completed the math homework for Lesson 17, 18, 19 and 20 and have them ready to turn in when they come in.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I will see everyone tomorrow!

Happy Sunday!

Well, the week we have been waiting for has arrived! If your child is on the A – Schedule, they will report to school at 9:40 am. Please drop them off at Door #2. If your child is on the B -Schedule, they will report on Zoom at 8:40 so I can do attendance. On Tuesday, the opposite is true.

Supplies to bring for your child’s first day:

-Homework Folder (comes to school everyday, then goes home everyday)

-Water Bottle (We will not be using the drinking fountains for the present time)

-Crayon Box (Just the necessary supplies please!)

-All math books (Learn, Succeed, and Practice books)

-A chapter book from home to read during independent reading time.

-Please return the protractor, dry erase board and any bagged reading books that we sent home at the beginning of the year.

-Bagged lunch (unless your child is having the hot lunch provided by the cafeteria/lunch menus are posted on the Dearborn Schools website. no lunch menus are being sent home at this time)

Please remember that if your child is not coming to school and are working asynchronously, they need to work independently on work that is posted on Schoology. More importantly they need to follow the schedule for lunch and specials. The specials teachers will have live ZOOM sessions each day and the students are expected to attend at the time posted on the schedule.

Please make sure your child has completed all work assigned, the end of the card marking is March 19th.

Thank you for your support and if you have any questions, please feel free to message me.

Enjoy the beautiful weather!!

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

I just want to clarify how this week is going to go for your child:

Starting tomorrow, our Zoom time will begin at 8:40 am. This new change will help us prepare for next week when we begin our Hybrid Schedule.

There will be NO in-person Learning Labs this week. We will work remotely all week. This will include Reading Groups.

Your child will be starting the A or B Hybrid Schedule starting next week, March 8th.

We are also starting March is Reading Month! More information to come regarding various activities and contests that we encourage the children to participate in…

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and as always, let me know if you have any questions.

Hello! Happy Sunday!

This week and next, in preparation for our hybrid schedule starting on March 8th, we will be doing learning labs…tomorrow I have the last group that will come in for Orientation. After that, I would like to bring students in for in-person reading groups. During that time, I will not only do a reading group, but will also do some remedial teaching in math.

Please keep an eye on your Class Dojo messages to see what day I would like to see your child….

Thanks for your support, and if you have any questions of course contact me!
