Dear Snow Families,
The Michigan Department of Education MDE has recently given Snow a
school grade of letter “A”! Our students are performing and we want
to continue to soar! During this time of shut down, we are going to
work hard to continue student learning. We are asking all Snow
families to do the following:
-iReady for a minimum of 2 hours per week. 
-Read “Good fit” books. (K-2) 20 min daily, (3-5) 30-45 min daily.
-At least 1 lesson per day on Zearn.
-4 th and 5 th grade Khan Academy for 20 minutes daily.
-Grades 2-5 will receive assignments via Google Classroom.
There will be additional assignments based on classrooms/grades.
Teachers and support staff will be monitoring student learning.
Please check your emails regularly! This will be the main method of
communication between school and home. Phone calls will be made as
necessary.
Due to the fact that we are moving to online learning for this period of
shut down, please limit recreational screen time! (Social media,
YouTube, video games, television, etc…)

Hello Parents!

Please remember that we are taking measures to clean and disinfect all surfaces at Snow School! A letter from the Principal will be arriving with your child today.

Homework: Read 20-30 minutes with a reading response, spelling activities are due and 2nd grade math homework is lesson 28. 3rd graders need to complete Module 4 lesson 1 homework.

Tomorrow we have a half-day. Dismissal is at 11:45. We will also have Music. Have a great evening!!

Dear Snow Families,

We are noticing an increase in traffic congestion along Culver at dismissal.  Cars should not be waiting or parked in the bus lane.  You may be ticketed.  Officer Krakowski will be present at dismissal. 

There is parking available on Houston, Ash and Texas.  Please get here early enough to park your car and walk over to meet your child.

Literacy Night is tonight! Join us at 3:45-5:00 for an evening of fun!

Homework for tonight: Begin spelling activities: the spelling words are

tickle, puddle, table, bubble, riddle, model, sentence, capital, conflict, defend.

Math: 2nd grade completes lesson 26, 3rd grade studies for their Module 3 test tomorrow.

Don’t forget to have your child read at least 20 minutes tonight!

Lots of information coming home! Literacy Night information as well as the 5th grade pizza kit fundraiser for next years camp! We also saw a presentation by DTE and need your child to complete a survey with you that needs to be returned. They also received a free drawstring bag and an activity book!

Homework: Read 20-30 minutes each night, math for 2nd grade is lesson 25 and 3rd grade is completing a study guide. Unit 3 math test for 3rd grade will be Tuesday.
