Homework for this weekend: Study for the Unit 6 Math Test. The practice test should be coming home with your child to use as a study guide.
Make sure that you look for your child’s report card in their homework folder. There will be no Reading and Math Levels this card marking. Those will appear on the 3rd report card. (We are just taking the NWEA test this week and next)

Today for homework, students need to complete their Unit 6 Practice Test and return it to school. Also, have them study for the spelling test tomorrow.
We have music on Friday, so please don’t let them forget their recorders.

The week is going by fast! It is hard to believe that tomorrow is Thursday!
Our homework for tonight is Study Link 6.10, study spelling and multiplication facts.
Tomorrow is gym, so gym shoes are required. We are also collecting cans of soup to help Gleaner’s food bank. They are calling it their “Souper Bowl”. If you have a can of soup to spare, please send it in with your child tomorrow or Friday.

I wish I could answer that question. Hopefully, we will see it sometime this week. (I hope I can recognize it, it’s been a while!)
We have a busy week this week…we begin another round of NWEA testing. We are scheduled for Tuesday and Friday. Please make sure your child comes to school those days if at all possible.
Report cards go home this week, and we resume our spelling activities. This week’s words focus on /on/ and /en/ endings. The words are:
apron, poison, sunken, shrunken, chosen.
The content words are math words:
exponents, multiply, factors, estimation, product.

Homework: Study Link 6.4, practice social studies test, please review and sign your child’s Unit 5 Math Test. The signed test needs to be returned today.
Today we will have Art and our online Social Studies Test for Unit 5.

The students have a very short week this week, so we will not be having spelling words.
Tuesday is Library Day and Gym day, so please make sure your child remembers to bring their library books and wear their gym shoes.
We will be having an online Social Studies test on Wednesday, so your child will be bringing their practice test home to finish on Tuesday night. They will also bring their Social Studies notes to help them complete the practice test.
Thursday will be the end of the card marking and also a half day for students. They will be dismissed at 11:45.
No school for students on Friday, teachers will meet all day for Professional Development.
Please continue to have your child read at least 20 each night and practice their multiplication facts.
