We had fun bowling today!  Thank you to all the parent drivers who helped us get to and from the bowling alley safely!

Tonight’s homework:  Study for spelling, do math test corrections, sign and return Unit 11 math test.

Tomorrow is Wild, Wacky Hair Day.  We also have music, so bring recorders.

Wednesday News

Happy Wednesday!  Tomorrow is our field trip to Ford Lanes.  Your child does not have to bring a lunch.  We will have pizza and a soda at the bowling alley.  Make sure your child knows their shoe size and wears socks!!

Homework tonight:  Study spelling words.

Tomorrow we will have gym in the afternoon.  Gym shoes required!

Homework for tonight:  Study spelling and complete the Social Studies Practice Test.

Tomorrow is Uniform Day.  Your child can wear the jersey of their favorite team.

Reminder:  Thursday will be the field trip to bowling.  Make sure your child knows their shoe size!  Thank you to the parents who offered to transport children to the bowling alley.  Please plan on arriving at school about 9:15, checking into the office and heading down to room 7 for your assigned group.  We will be leaving school about 9:30 am.

The end of the weekend…

Hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend.  Below is a message from our PTA:

The Snow PTA will have its final meeting for this school year on Thursday, June 4th at 6pm in the library. Also, the end of year picnic is Friday, June 5th from 5-8pm. We need donations of pop, water, juice and individual bags of chips.  We are also accepting dessert donations for the picnic. There is always a pot luck style dessert table at the picnic and desserts are free! All donations can be brought to the office. Thank you!!

Tomorrow we will have Art and Math Enrichment.  Our spelling test from Friday will be on Monday.   This week will be the final week for spelling.  I will post the words for this week on tomorrow’s blog.

Tomorrow is Read a Shirt Day, according to our ABC countdown…make sure your child wears a shirt with words on it tomorrow.

Homework:  Read at least 20 minutes and study for the spelling test.

Field trip money and permission slip are due tomorrow.  We also have music, so children should bring their recorders.

Hello everyone!  Hard to believe it is already Wednesday!

Homework for tonight:  Study Link 11.5, study spelling and finish unfinished work from earlier today.

Tomorrow we have gym, so make sure your child wears their gym shoes.

We are up to Q on the ABC countdown:  Quiet Day.  We will all speak quietly tomorrow.

Don’t forget to turn in Field Trip money along with the permission slip.

Camp Information

Camp Pinewood Information for Fall 2015

Dear Parents and Guardians of Incoming 5th Grade students,

Our annual 5th Grade field trip to Camp Pinewood is scheduled for October 7-9, 2015.   Here are some dates, and numbers to help you plan for the upcoming trip.

  • Camp Date: October 7-9 (W, Th, F)
  • Camp Cost is approximately $94.00
  • We need 8-10 male chaperones
  • We need 8-10 female chaperones
  • All chaperones must have a current background check on file at Snow elementary. For information on how to get a background check please stop in the school office before June 5, 2015.
  • In mid-September there will be an informational meeting for parents/guardians with the Camp Pinewood Director, and 5th grade teachers.
  • All details will be finalized in a letter when we return to school in September.
