Good Afternoon! We will not be having school on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday of this week.
Over the break please make sure your child reads at least 20 minutes each night, practices their multiplication tables with flashcards or a computer based fact practice program. The Social Studies project is due on Monday. Make sure your child finishes and brings it in on time!

The Snow PTA will be hosting Holiday Shoppe again this year! The shop will be open Tuesday and Wednesday, December 8th and 9th, from 9am to 3pm, and on Thursday, December 10th, from 9am to 11am. Your child will be bringing home an informational note and budget envelope this week. Also, a reminder note will come home next week that will specifically list your child’s time to shop! This is a fun event and the kids really enjoy getting to pick out gifts.Of course we need help and volunteers with setup, shopping assistants, and takedown. This is a link to the Signup Genius created to manage volunteers. Any help, even if it is only for a half hour, is very helpful! We have a short week this week, no spelling words to study. However, we do have a Unit 4 Math test to study for. The test will be first thing tomorrow morning.
We will have Gym tomorrow, so please make sure your child brings gym shoes if they wear boots to school.

We will have a spelling test on last week’s words. We will also have Art tomorrow. Our Unit 4 math test will be on Tuesday, so your child will be bringing home their practice test tomorrow.

Happy Thursday everyone! Tomorrow is picture retake day. If you want your child to retake their pictures, please bring in the old packet and a new one will be taken. If your child was absent, they can get their picture taken for the class picture. (Order forms are in the office)

Tonight’s homework: Study Link 4.7, study spelling and practice math facts. Don’t forget reading each night for 20-25 minutes!
Some parents have been asking about the book orders. They are due at the end of each month. You can order online or send the order form and cash or check to me. I will send the order in the mail. (if you want it fast, ordering online is the way to go!)
