A message about the Santa Shop

Holiday Shoppe is coming to Snow School next week!  Letters will go home with the students this week specifically listing their time to shop with their class.  The budget envelopes that went home last week are a great way to keep the children focused during their shopping.  Please consider signing up to help even if you only have a free half hour!  We always need help!

Thank you!

Sunny Sunday!

Hello parents!  I hope everyone had a fun-filled, yet relaxing Thanksgiving weekend!  It is hard to believe that there are only 3 weeks left until the Christmas Holiday break!  Time is flying by!!

Tomorrow we will have Art and an Anti-Bullying Assembly at 2:00 featuring Roary the Lion!!  We will also take a couple of days to review and revisit some of the concepts in Math Unit 4.  Your children took the test on Tuesday and unfortunately most of them did poorly.  We will review misconceptions on Monday and possibly Tuesday and I will give them the opportunity to retake it if they so desire.  This was a difficult unit and I want them to understand these concepts before moving on.

Our spelling words this week feature words containing a final /ar/ and /or/:

cheddar, avatar, conductor, harbor, odor.

The content words are mathematics words:

tenths, hundredths, thousandths, smallest, largest.

Hopefully, your child has been reading each night of the weekend as well as practicing their multiplication facts!  Make sure they get plenty of sleep tonight in order for them to start the week right…see everyone tomorrow!
