Hello everyone!
Tomorrow is the last day of school before our 2 week holiday break. It is also Spirit Day, so students can wear either pajamas or an ugly sweater! We will also be having our Holiday Sing Along in the gym at 2:30 (after we see the K-1 students perform).
Students are invited to bring in a treat to pass. We will be doing a craft and seeing a holiday movie in class tomorrow.

Homework for tonight: Study Link 5.8 and study spelling. Your child is bringing home their Science Fair Packet today. Please make sure you look it over and save the dates. The Science Fair will be in February this year!

Good Afternoon! I hope everyone is enjoying our warm weekend weather!
This week will be an exciting one for all of us!
Wednesday will be a late start. School starts at 9:35. If your child eats breakfast at school, they need to get to the cafeteria between 9:00 and 9:15 to eat. No breakfast will be served in the classroom on late start days.
Friday will be the last day of school before the holiday break. We will have a low key celebration on Friday afternoon which will be comprised of sharing treats and a movie. At 2:15 we will go down to the gym to see the K-l concert, followed by our annual Holiday Sing-Along. (There will be no STEAM for those students participating from the 4th grade)
Our spelling words this week will be 15 fun ones! The spelling words are as follows:
Santa Claus, elves, sleigh, tinsel, stockings, reindeer, Rudolf, Frosty, North Pole, decorations, gingerbread, chimney, joy, peace, gifts.
Tomorrow we will have Art. Mrs. Zechar is asking students to bring in newspaper to be used for a paper mache project. Also, if your child has a reading log that they are keeping for me and they forgot it on Friday, please make sure they bring it tomorrow. (All Reading Logs are due on Friday of each week)
