Tomorrow will bring a new semester, so expect your child to be bringing home their report card this week.  I will be contacting those parents whose child is on a contract regarding their progress…

Tomorrow we will have Art.  Behavior in the Art Room has been noticeably worse in the past several weeks, so I have come up with a Seating Chart to try to curb the negative behavior in there.  Hopefully, this will increase CREATIVE time and decrease behavior problems.

Our spelling words for this week focus on words with a beginning or ending /al/:

neutral, fatal, numeral, although, almonds.

Content words focus on Social Studies:

Executive Branch, Legislative Branch, Judicial Branch, separate, balance.

Homework for tonight:  Study for the spelling test.  If your child has been invited to participate in Extended Day (tutoring), please make sure that you sign the permission slip and return it tomorrow…(those students who are on contracts have all been invited)

This weeks spelling words focus on irregular plurals:

scissors, cacti, oxen, children, fungi

The content words are Science words:

Earth, distance, cycle, phases, seasons.

Tomorrow we will have Art.  We have one more NWEA test to go.  We will complete that this week.

The semester ends on Friday, so make sure your child gets all of their work in by then.  If not, a zero is entered into Grade book and will be reflected on their report card.
