Good Afternoon Parents!

Your child will be bringing home their Science Notebooks and a study guide to study for their Science Test (which will be Thursday).

We also have new spelling activities to work on plus Homelink 6.1.  Your child’s Unit 5 Math Test will be coming home for you to review.  Students who did not pass the test have a letter attached to the front of their test.  Those children need to do corrections to improve their score.  Please attach corrections, sign and return the test.  ALL PARENTS:  Review and sign your child’s test and return it to school tomorrow.

We will have Music tomorrow.

News about Family Science Night!

***Family Science Night***

Dear Snow Families,

 

We are very excited to bring to Snow Elementary School our 4th Annual Family Science Night!  It will take place on Thursday, January 26th 6:00-7:30 p.m.  The evening will begin in the gym with a “Wacky Science” presentation by Scheer Magic Productions.  This will begin at 6:00 p.m. sharp, so please plan accordingly.  After the assembly, you and your family will have time to walk around the school to see the wonderful science projects that the students have accomplished.   You may also visit with the STEM Middle School Robotics Team.  We invite you to celebrate our success and support your student’s science skill development.

 

** ALL SNOW STUDENTS:  Please wear your “Snow Leaders Shirts.”  If you do not have one, please wear any Snow t-shirt or the color blue. **

Welcome to a new week!

I hope everyone is enjoying this nice warm weekend!  Wow!  Can’t even believe it’s January!!

Spelling words for this week focus on words with silent letters:

write, wrist, wreck, knife, know.

The content words are:

Valentine, love, heart, candy, friend.

Tomorrow we will have Art and a Jump rope for Heart Assembly at 2:30.  We will also have a Math NWEA test this week, Science Fair Projects are due on Wednesday, January 25th.  Science Night will be Thursday January 26th from 6-7:30, and we have a half-day on Friday (end of the marking period).

Please make sure your child is practicing their presentation of their Science Fair projects at home.  The Science Fair projects will be graded, and the presentation is part of the grade.

Have a great rest of your weekend, and for football fans…enjoy this fun-filled day of games!
